University Softball Field

The 2010 spring season was a banner year for the West Georgia softball program, as the newest facility in the southeast was christened with the Wolves beginning play on the brand new University Softball Field.

The inaugural game was played on March 3, 2010, as the Wolves played a doubleheader against Miles. West Georgia was stellar on the afternoon, dispatching Miles 11-1 and 13-2 to open play at their new home. The women's field house, located behind the left field wall, serves as the home of UWG softball and soccer, featuring full locker rooms, training rooms and meeting facilities for each sport.

Prior to the 2018 season, University Softball Field underwent a renovation to the backstop area, installing netting and padding from dugout to dugout, and putting down artificial turf in the are behind home plate and inside each dugout.
